Update to Meteohub V4.6q (NSLU2, x86, SheevaPlug) brings these features:

• Demo period now lasts until 31st of January 2011.
• prints out a "no data" image when trying to do display a graph with no data in.
• fixes a bug that displays graph for actual and next year when called to display actual year.
• supports nightly icons in WD-Live (experimental)

After upgrading my nlsu2 last night to 4.6q from a good running 4.6p I can't access it by its IP adrress (I have to get to it by using port 7777), when it boots there are three short beeps (then after a long pause it beeps the IP address normally) and I get errors (clicking on the various menu sections one by one):

on the "System" screen:
Storage (section)
Swap: 0MB of 127MB used (0%)
System: 273MB of 402MB used (67%)
Data: 273MB of 402MB used (67%) <------- looks like it's not using my USB stick

Process (section)
Weather Data Recomputation: waiting
Weather Data Logging: running (last data: never) <------- it's not logging
SSH Login: running
SMB Shares: running
Time Synchonization: running

on the "Log files" screen:
all the log files are blank except system log and dmesg

on the "Inspect data" screen
No data for current month. Please select a month available in the list.

on the "Sensors" screen:
error connect socket 127.0.0.1:5555 :Connection refused
Warning: Data logging has been halted.

on the "Settings" screen:
Error file directory: /data/graphs/: No such file or directory

on the "Manage graphs" screen:
Error file directory: /data/graphs/: No such file or directory

on the "Graph uploads" screen:
Error file directory: /data/graphs/: No such file or directory
Error file directory: /data/graphs/: No such file or directory
(yes, it's listed twice)

My nlsu2 was upgraded using the "Software Update (Auto)" button. What did I do wrong? How do I fix it, or how do I downgrade to 4.6p (I've tried using the "Software Update (Web)" button to downgrade to a 4.6p file I downloaded to my desktop but that doesn't seem to work)?

I have downgraded to 4.6p by following some instructions to map the meteohub public firectory and copy the 4.6p .upd file to the nlsu2 and using the "Software Update (File)" button. I still have the same errors as listed above that I had after upgrading to 4.6q. After reading through several forum posts it looks like my USB stick died? (But doesn't the meteohub application get written to and run from the USB stick? I'm confused?)

You have a bad usb stick.

This indicates that mount of partition 3 (data) couldn't be done. You will need to setup a new usb stick as explained in section 1.1.3 of the manual.

Hi admin,

I have just uploaded the "4.6q" update to get the night time webcam working in WDL. Works great thanks. (Apart from the WDL issue of the day time web cam image showing until the first refresh).

Now I have a problem with the weather icon being incorrect. It is showing "night rain" instead of "night partly cloudy"? There is no rain and has not been any all day.

I'm I correct in thinking this is part of the experimentally work on this version or is it another type of problem?
