Hey everyone, Sense my former usb sticks died on me ( at least I think that is the problem ) I have been trying to get my NSLU2 back up and running . But buying a new Sandisk 4 gig stick and loaded the 4.6 dd using killbits I got the same results as before . So, then thinking it may be something to do with the hardware NSLU2 , I went ahead and reflashed it according to instructions outlined by Boiris . But here I am with same results .... no sensors assigned . Then after looking more closely at the meteohub log I think i found the problem , " bad file descriptor ' Does anyone know exactly what this means ? I hope my NSLU2 isn't fried .

Hello Boris, I did the 4.6 u upgrade but still have the "DEMO has expired " after doing a reboot . I tried several times reinstalling and even did a reset but am getting no where . So I guess I am doing something wrong .

I finally got the update 4.6u to install by reverting back to the old 2gig kingston usb stick . That is weird because it would not work before . I had reloaded the stick and all and had tried over and over to do updates but to no avail . That is when i bought a new 4 gig usb stick and reflashed the hardware . So I thought What the heck , I will try the old but updated 2 gig stick a try one more time . And bingo it accepted my id # and then I was able to update the 4.6u and it is running . All that is except the rain sensoris not reporting for some reason . So I suppose the new 4 gig stick is not any good ? Tim
