I have been using a weatherlinkIP data logger successfully with Meteohub on an NSLU2 for a couple of years. The weatherlinkIP recently failed and I am trying to use a serial datalogger until a replacement arrives. The serial datalogger works fine when connecting it to my PC using a serial-to-USB device.

I can not get Meteohub to recognize that a device has been plugged in to the lower USB port. I've tried with two different serial-to-USB devices, a Belkin FSU409 and a Keyspan USA-19. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Any suggestions on getting this to work?

That list of supported chipsets really ought to be listed someplace in the Meteohub user manual.

I checked the manual to help with Andy's questions and I didn't find anything about only certain chipsets being supported for USB-serial adapters.
