When will wishes come true?

Hi,
first of all i would like to say a big thanks for your suggestions. You might wonder if I take a look at these at all, because i haven't had realized much if it.
My problem is time. I hope bug fixing for the actual 2.3 release will go down compared to the last weeks.
It was a surprise to myself how much things can go wrong after adding station after station in a short period. Not to open Pandora's box again, I would like to see the basic data logging and evaluation functions with all now supported stations being stable and bug free before I might think of adding more weather stations, like the often requested WSxxxx.
Another challenge was migration to kernel 2.6.21. This really brought new short term problems. I expected this, but it also took quite some time to do migration and to fight the bugs after that. Even if it brought quite some effort to you by means of reflashing NSLU2 firmware, bringing data on the usb stick, etc... I really think that was a very necessary step to get the best out of the NSLU2.
You might have heard that NSLU2 is discontinued by Linksys. I had got notice on that a few month ago and started looking for a hardware alternative. I found something looking very suitable about two month ago. In the meanwhile I have test systems here and I am working on a port of Meteohub to this very nice platform. You will get details when I am done, actually I am still working on additional features that this platform provides. Before announcing that, I have to make 100% sure that it works as expected. In terms of SW development it will be a single source approach, which means that NSLU2 users and users of the new platform will have the same code base. So there will be no need to drop your NSLU2, it will be supported with exactly the same fresh code. May be the new platform will have a few more features, as it is a bit more capable than the NSLU2.
I hope you understand that my priorities at the moment are
1) further improve stability and make it as bug free as possible
2) getting the NSLU2 alternative on its way
3) then going through your wish list
Again thanks for your ideas! Without this, Meteohub wouldn't be where it is...
