Good evening,
I have purchased a Iomega iconnect system recently, and now is running with Meteohub 4.8i.
I'm testing for now before relegate my PC running VWS, but I have doubts about the system switchoff while realise the tests.

Is there any kind of protocol to shutdown the system completely without risk of lose data or break the usb drive?

Best regards

I do it with:

shutdown -h now

via putty console.

Like Sheevaplug it is an always on device. I don't think it can be shut down.

What you can do is to reboot and wait until the power LED goes off and starts blinking blue again. That is the moment to pull the plug.

I'm ask for this issue because the iconnect isn't in the definitively place now. For january 1st. will be correctly installed and protected by UPS.
