This morning my weather recording stopped without a reason, so did the ntp. dmesg reports quite a lot errors like these ones:

Code: Select all

EXT3-fs error (device hda3): ext3_free_blocks: Freeing blocks not in datazone - block = 741947705, count = 1
]EXT3-fs error (device hda3): ext3_free_blocks: Freeing blocks not in datazone - block = 757872953, count = 1
EXT3-fs error (device hda3): ext3_free_blocks: Freeing blocks not in datazone - block = 960051501, count = 1
EXT3-fs error (device hda3): ext3_free_blocks_sb: bit already cleared for block 548118
EXT3-fs error (device hda1): ext3_free_blocks_sb: bit already cleared for block 172052
Is this just a hiccup of the file-system? Or is my CF degrading and I should get a new one fast? (The CF Card is about 9 Months old). I googled the problem, but didn't find anything Flash-related, just a lot of problems with HDDS. If I have to switch to a ne CF - what will be the easysiest way. Can I just use a Card Reader and dd if=/dev/hda of=/dev/hdb (or whatever the cf-card will be)?

Starting all services (and killing ntpd) fixed the problems, but I'm not sure if this will last.

Thanx
Danny
