When trying to auto update to 4.9g meteohub says
Error: Update file is corrupted or not a MeteoHub update at all.

Linux Kernel: 2.6.21.7 266 BogoMIPS, 30 MB RAM, NSLU2 (266 MHz)
MeteoHub: 4.9 (Build 1187) ©2011 by smartbedded UG (haftungsbeschränkt)
System ID: uXDi activated

How can i solve this problem?

Does the problem still exist? This can happen during the couple of minutes it takes to upload a fresh version. Right now, that should work ok.

Yes, maybe my problem is lack of space in /
df -k
Filesystem 1k-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on
/dev/sda1 412524 412513 0 100% /
/dev/mtdblock4 6528 5604 924 86% /initrd
/dev/sda1 412524 412513 0 100% /dev/.static/dev
tmpfs 2048 28 2020 1% /dev
/dev/sda3 3256488 857416 2233648 28% /data
tmpfs 15188 1308 13880 9% /var/volatile
tmpfs 15188 0 15188 0% /dev/shm

anything safe to delete?

Looks like a flooded system partition because mount of data partition did fail once. Result is data to be stored on system partition until it is filled up. As the wrongly stored data is now below the mount point of data partition, you cant reach it from inside meteohub.

Please mount partition 1 of the USB stick on a linux system and delete what is stored at folder /data.
