I'm getting following error message on meteohub under Sensors:

error receive data from socket 127.0.0.1:5555: Resource temporarily unavailable
Warning: Data logging has been halted.

any idea?

For some reason data logger does not rn correctly and tries t fix this be restarting itself and logging again and again.
Please have a look at "meteohub log" on "Log Files" page to get an idea what goes wrong.

Looks like I'm getting the same problem here:

error connect socket 127.0.0.1:5555 :Connection refused
Warnung: Datenerfassungsprozess ist gestoppt.
-> after that the meteohub webpage is not available anymore

The only solution is to stop the loggerd (/etc/init.d/loggerd). After that I have to remove the just added davis sensor and after that everything looks fine (although the "Wetterdatenneuberechnung:" is started).

That only happens when I try to log data from my new davis vantage pro 2. And sometimes it works, sometimes not.

I only noticed that the "Wetterdatenneuberechnung" took a couple of hours. After that I removed all my graphs, but no change.

Any hints?

the meteohub log does only mention my loggerd stop:

logger (14.09.2012 16:37:29): parent process received termination signal (15).
logger (14.09.2012 16:37:29): child process received termination signal (15).

I am having this same problem. Its been running for 3 months without a problem and out of the blue this started. Does anyone have a solution?

Please, I need help with this, its driving me nuts. The station only runs for a week or so and I get this same error.

What platform are you using? DC01?

Yes DC01.

please put a small USB 2.0 Hub inbetween vanatgae logger ans meteohub.
This solves a lot of USB related issues for vantage users.
