Hi!
I've got the Alix3D3 running meteohub 4.9n on a 2.6.24 kernel. I have connected a Logitec c270 webcam to one of the USB ports. How can I get it running in Meteohub? I have tried setting video-0 and -1 in the Webcam page, but I keep getting a broken image icon.

What can I do to get it up and running?

Edit:
lsusb gives

meteohub@meteohub:~$ lsusb
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
Bus 001 Device 002: ID 046d:0825 Logitech, Inc.
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
meteohub@meteohub:~$

Does this mean my camera is installed, but not configured?

this camera is not in the list of supported cams.
why did you not read the manual?
Appendix H: Supported USB Web Cams (experimental for x86 platform)
List of USB web cams which are supported by the gspcav1 driver according to

I've checked out that page, however it was updated some 5 years ago, and most of the webcams listed there are no longer available in your local electonics store. The Logitec C270 got a 5 out of 5 Linux compatibility score, is there any other driver I can use?

I´ve googled the Logitech C270 and no this cam won´t work under Linux at all
Even Logitech says this
http://logitech-en-amr.custhelp.com/app ... /related/1
Your C270 is supported by: Windows XP Windows Vista Windows 7
Your C270 is not supported on Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows 2000, Macintosh, UNIX or Linux.
Though some guys say it works under ubuntu/skype with the UVC driver

Logitech C270 Webcam and Linux

Any chance of getting an older model on ebay?

Don´t know what you want to picture with the webcam, but the image quality is very bad in most cases.
And as Boris already wrote in his comments he isn´t really sounding like being a great fan of this solution. Maybe that why it never was followed up at all.

A project I find particulary far more interested is using Digital cameras under Linux
