Generic X86 for Meteobridge?

Is there a generic X86 distribution for Meteobridge similar to the one for Meteohub?

I'm now running Meteohub in a virtual machine on a VMware ESXi server. This is more convenient for me than separate standalone hardware. I don't really need the local weather data storage either. Meteobridge would seem even better suited to this application than Meteohub. Can I run the Meteobridge software in a VMware ESXi virtual machine?

No, and no plans for that, sorry.

Please rethink of buying one of the TP-Link routers. There are so cheap, small, take just minimal power, connect via WLAN... much better than a VM solution and does even work when your VM is on maintenance.

I'm thinking about to buy a TP-Link router and start with Meteobridge. The only question is, is it possible to import the historical/old data from Meteohub?

no, Meteobridge has no local data store.
