Application SW stack in version 1.1 has been released.
When you do a reboot/power cycle Meteobridge will load this new version.
Improvements of 1.1 are:
- more variables for templates (full documentation at http://www.meteobridge.com/wiki/index.php/Templates)
- balloon help on live data tab does show sequence of values for live data and time of min/max events for historical data.
- added weather network http://www.previmeteo.com
- length of paylod text fields for push services have been enlarged to 4000 characters
- some bugs around swapped min/max historical values are fixed
In addition an improved firmware (FW 1.1) has been added for all platforms in "Getting Started" section of wiki. Improvements are:
- update of kernel code for WR703N that should prevent from a disabled LAN in case of HW revision 1.7 - not fully tested yet
- landing page listing options when Internet cannot be reached
- FW 1.1 is not a prerequiste for application stack version 1.1

In the Netherlands and Belgian we have a very popular weather network: HWA. Is it possible to include this network too? Please let me know if you need help with it.

I am just implementing that. Will be formally part of next update to 1.2 version.
You can read about actual developments here:
http://meteobridge.com/wiki/index.php/Forum
Idea is to use Meteobridge FTP upload feature and the HWA template located at
templates.meteobridge.com/hetweeractueel.template

Sorry to bother, but where did this file go to?
It can not be located anymore, meteobridge reports:
Code: Select all
System Message
Error: Download of template failed (#2): http://tau.meteobridge.com/templates//hetweeractueel.template:
2014-01-09 13:49:06 ERROR 404: Not Found.
I tried to scan the other posts, maybe I overlooked it.
UPDATE I think I found the file here:
http://tau.templates.meteobridge.com/te ... l.template
This file looks correct to me.
Thanks for looking into it.
Wim

It is working now with
http://tau.templates.meteobridge.com/te ... l.template
This is the error I get when clicking on your link
http://templates.meteobridge.com/hetwee ... l.template :
Not Found
The requested URL /templates//hetweeractueel.template was not found on this server.
I will again put it in Meteobridge , reload , reboot and see if the error pops up again.
UPDATE:
Meteobridge reports at reload
Code: Select all
System Message
Error: Download of template failed (#2): http://tau.meteobridge.com/templates//hetweeractueel.template: 2014-01-09 15:40:23 ERROR 404: Not Found.
UPDATE 2:
I tested all combinations.
Everytime I input the URL (put in a code block to make sure that it is readable)
Code: Select all
templates.meteobridge.com/hetweeractueel.template
I got the ERROR 404 in Meteobridge when hitting the reload button and also when I test the link in a browser.
And the file uploaded is only 0 bytes long.
Only with
Code: Select all
tau.templates.meteobridge.com/templates/hetweeractueel.template
the Reload Templates button works.
AND the files is uploaded with the correct length of 2.3 KB.
Could this be an DNS problem because of the relocation of the Meteobridge server?

There was a minor bug in the URL rewriting rules in the Apache scripts. It has now been fixed and "
http://templates.meteobridge.com/hetwee ... l.template" works as expected now.

@admin
Today the recommended link results in
The requested URL /templates/hetweeractueel.template was not found on this server.
The template itself is till there. Seems the same problem as a few years ago.
Thanks for all the good work,
Wim

Thanks or the heads up. It should work now. Subdomain templates was not correctly assigned, now it is.
Apart from that the migration to the new server went rather fine and we are now operational on much more capable hardware.
