I quite like the fact that the developers are releasing new and new functions quite often. Therefore I thought it would be very nice, if it was possible to create just some very simple form, where I could put my email address and be notified everytime something new appears in meteobridge. The reason for that is that since updates are automatic, the only way I can now something is new is to check the official website, but doing that every day/week is tidious and I often forget.

We don't have that feature. Looking at this page from time to time will keep you up-to-date:
