I can't flash my iConnect

Hello. I can't flash my iConnect, and I don't know why.
I've downloaded the meteohub image frome here: http://wiki.meteohub.de/Images
(iConnect compressed USB stick image - Version 4.9)
Then I started to follow this instructions: http://wiki.meteohub.de/Setup_iConnect
So... I copied the img on my usb stick with ImageWriter (Windows 8 ) and I tried the patching process:
I completely disconnected the iConnect (power, USB devices) and connected the created Meteohub USB stick to one of the four USB ports and connected the ethernet cable of my router.
I located the reset pin hole at the rear of the iConnect. I pressed reset button behind pin hole at the rear. I inserted a paper clip end into the reset pin hole and pressed slightly.
I kept the reset button pressed while connecting the power cord to the iConnect again. I kept the reset button pressed until blue flashing power LED changed to red. So I released the reset button BUT the power LED DID NOT start flashing blue after a while.
At this step it stays red and the patch doesn't go on.
WHY?
