Acurite 01035 indoor data is off (way off) **solved**

Just got things setup tonight to test this out and so far everything is looking pretty decent except the indoor values being reported in the Live Data window. I am pretty sure it is not 210.0°F (98.9°C) in our house right now. The console is showing 72°F and 30% humidity indoors. Any suggestions?

Some stations (like mine) are completely off regarding pressure, but it also shows garbage on my Acurite display.
That indoor temp is also impacted on some stations is new to me.

Could you please email the MAC of your Meteobridge to "info(at)meteobridge.com"?

I sent my MAC address yesterday? Were you able to see what may be going on?

Just wondering about the support available for this product? I have already spent some cash in purchasing the necessary hardware to connect the weather station and am now on my 2 week trial but am concerned about purchasing a license for that kind of money if I can't even get the trial running correctly. Is anyone looking at this issue so that I can trial a "working package"? Is this the correct process for requesting customer support or is there a different avenue? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated as I am definitely interested in getting a working Meteobridge solution for my station.

As I don't understand what causes your specific problem, I can't provide help.
Anyway, when pressure is reported correctly, sending data to weather networks
is not impacted as your indoor temp isn't reported anyway.
It is up to you, if you decide to live with that hickup or change to another solution.

My apologies but I assumed that when you had asked for the MAC of the unit that you were, or would be, actively looking for a solution. You are correct that this won't affect any uploading to weather sites however ultimately, I want to display internal temp on my personal website as well as capture ALL data in a database where I can have more control over using it. I would hope that you won't simply ignore this "bug" and that you will indeed attempt to fix this for future releases. Support level indeed plays a role during software evaluations.

I also have an Acurite 1035 and see the same behavior.

This information is from the live data page on the Meteobridge configuration page.

Indoor temp 97.1°C 96.3°C 97.1°C
206.8°F 205.3°F 206.8°F

While this doesn't affect the ability to report weather conditions to Weather Underground, it's pretty strange. How can you come to understand the communication error with the Acurite 1035 console so the meteobridge software bug can be fixed? Or is this a bug with Acurite's reporting of data via USB? The readout of indoor temperature on the Acurite indoor display is correct. To repeat dchamberlain's request: what is the process by which errors in Meteobridge software are reported, tracked, and fixed?

Acurite USB protocol is undocumented. It will need some more digging into it,
to understand what is going on here. When you look here
(http://meteobridge.com/wiki/index.php/Forum), you will see that updates
are done far more often than on any other product you might own. I hope you
understand that I invest my time in getting something fixed instead of explaining
bug fixing strategies. Reporting bugs in this forum is totally fine. Thanks.

Same thing happen to me.
Internal sensor (pressure, temp) is way off (90-110C, 8xx hPa) this just happened sometime last week. The strange is the reading on console LCD and VIS Reader software is OK.

My attempt to analyze the problem with kanok's setup this evening did fail, as his Meteobridge doesn't connect at all to the Acurite station (seems to be a HW problem) at the moment. I am still looking for someone giving me access on ports 22 and 80 to a Meteobridge hooked-up to an Acurite via USB that shows the wrong temp/baro data. Please mail to "info(at)meteobridge.com" if you can provide such an access to me. Without that, I can't analyze what the problem is.

Looks like I could drill down on the root cause. Fix is uploaded and should be effective after a reboot.
Indoor temp and pressure is affected by the fix.

Finished reading your email and completed forwarding ports to my device, then thought I'd quickly check the forum before notifying you to use my setup and was pleasantly surprised to read your post. I just rebooted my meteobridge and you are correct, the indoor temps are working now. Very nice and thanks.

The new build does work. Now both internal pressure and temp is shown correctly
