Issues with Meteobridge admin login **solved**

Hi - I installed an Ambient Weather version of meteobridge, configured it and it's been working for a couple days. Went back today to update a corrected Lat/Lon value. Powered it down to move it to my router. Powered it back up with the physical network cable plugged in at both ends. It goes through the boot cycle, main light goes steady, then hardwired network light comes on, internet comes on, wireless comes, then the hardwired port starts flashing really fast and never leaves that state. The router port light also flashes rapidly like the ridge.

While this is going on when I try and connect to meteobridge at the IP address, I get really slow results, Some times it will load some of the interface and at other times I get time outs.

When it boots with just wireless it comes right up and seems to be working fine. I see updates on Weather Underground etc.

I'm out of ideas short of sending it back to Ambient Weather. Anyone else have any ideas?

I reposted this in the correct discussion. I originally posted it in the Meteohub discussion.

That the unit reacts sluggish when connected via Ethernet cable must have something to do with your LAN.
One option is that the Ethernet cable or your LAN infrastructure is broken, another option is that the
IP Meteobridge is given by your router is also occupied by another device in your LAN. I doubt that it
is a physical problem with the TP-Link device itself. Meteobridge does run fine on LAN, never heard of
this problem before.

Thanks! That helps me narrow down the problem and glad to hear you have never seen that problem before.
