Connection Issues **solved**

I have a TP Link 3020 that has been working fine. It seems that since the new versions are out I cannot connect to the internet. I also cannot connect to the TP Link. I have rebooted till the cows come home and I have connected via ethernet. If I try to log in to the meteobridge it connects then if i save or go to another tab it shows cannot connect. I can connect via the black screen every now and then when it shows up
I also reflashed the TP Link to no avail.
I would love some help on why its not staying connected.
I have a usb 2.0 hub and I am using a Davis Vantage Pro 2 with the USB WL.

It is connected to a belkin router and I am getting a IP address if I go thru ethernet and set it up each time.
If I leave the ethernet cable connected it goes on line, If I disconnect it goes off even though the wireless is working and shows via openwrt (wireless)
the MAC Address is available on your wishes.
Not sure what I am missing HELP

I don't really understand from your lines what what exactly the issue is. When you tinkered around on Openwrt level, you probable trashed some underneath settings. Please do the 5 blink factory reset procedure. I don't know of any V2.3 stability issues.

Ive rebooted with the 5 blink reset. I can only login is with the ethernet cable attached thru my router. As I get the device to see my wireless and set it up via openwrt, still connect with ethernet, I then do a save and reboot and remove the cable from the router I get nothing.

So the device works with the ethernet cable connect to the router, but does not when the cable is removed AND the wireless light is blinking.

FYI 3 lights blinking power, usb 20 connection and wireless.

SoI guess what am I missing. I have read and reread the wiki. And I have done everything it says?

You should NOT NO NEVER go into OpenWrt. When you follow the instructions, you also don't go there. Please use the WiFi options Meteobridge does provide.
So the device works with the ethernet cable connect to the router, but does not when the cable is removed AND the wireless light is blinking.
They do work on WiFi for hundreds of users, so don't tell me it is not working. It of course needs correct credentials and following the instructions.
Just another remark: The Wiki also tells you explicitly, you don't have to press "save" but "save and apply and reboot" on network tab. Why do you ignore that?

When all this does not help, please send screen dump of your settings, tabs "System" and "Network Settings" so someone here might guide you step by step how to configuring a WiFi client correctly...

I will do the 5 light reset, and start again. going only thru the meteobridge and not openwrt. I do save apply and reboot, and it doesnt come back...FYI ive done it every time.

It seems to be working the ONLY thing I did different was to save and reboot 1st. Rather thea after I added everything.
So do I do the save and reboot again after everything has been added???

After you did network configuration you have to press "save and apply and reboot" on the same network tab. That is all.
