Feature Request - Acurite Internet Bridge

Are there any plans (or would it be possible) to make it to where the Meteobridge when connected to the Acurite internet bridge would remain functional even when the internet connection is lost?
I have a PC on my local network that queries the Meteobridge for weather information that I use for my home automation. I would feel much better about this if I knew that it would still work if my internet connection were down for a few days.
Thanks,
Joe

Please add a USB stick to the Meteobridge then it can even reboot with the Internet down.

Yes, I have that set. It's not an issue of the Meteobridge booting, it's an issue of the Acurite internet bridge not sending data.
My understanding is that the Meteobridge just grabs a copy of the data that the Acurite Internet bridge is sending to the Acurite backyard weather site. It doesn't seem that the bridge sends data if the backyard site is not there to respond. Is this incorrect? Would it be possible for the Meteobridge itself to pretend to be the backyard site and send whatever responses are needed to keep the Acurite internet bridge happy?

Ah, I understand. Unfortunately the Acurite reaches out for the Acurite server in the internet and when
it doesn't find that it will not send data and Meteobridge cannot look into this.
