Issues with rainfall data

Yesterday i had to disconnect from the electrical grid all my equipments because had an electrical storm (81.5 mm in just 2 hours) when i reconnected all the systems some data was lost, and had diffents data on weatherlink.com and meteobridge (wunderground and the website), i have an ISS Davis Pro2 plus and an envoy (with batteries), why this happens?

I think the reason is rather obvious.
The Davis console/logger does log sensor data even when power is down (as long as batteries are fine),
while the Meteobridge does not log data when not switched on.

If it would have been Meteobridge oin a TL-MR3040, which has an rechargeable battery included,
data might have been logged correctly for a few hours without mains being there.

I figured something like that
