Difference between rain on console and on website

Hello,
I have a little problem with the rain on my website. I use the tag [rain0total-sum5.1] in a xml file which is sent every 5 min on the server then a php script reads the xml file and puts the data in a database.
I noticed that the quantity of rain is different on the console and on my website (i.e. yesterday, 41.4mm on console 28.2 on internet).
On MeteoPlug the value is correct.
How can I have the rain between two data transfers?
