Re: Everything gone after firmware update
Fortunately the problem solved itself! :D Probably due to the firmware update the whole system had to build up again and it was taking a lot of time. I saw slowly items to be added to the system, database as last item and then the whole system was recovered. That was after over one hour after the ...

Everything gone after firmware update
Today I restarted my Meteobridge due to a disturbance in saving data in the database of the Meteobridge. I saw that you have updated the firmware to version 5.0. The option for automatically updating firmware is selected, so I have got now the newest firmware now. Of course nice that there is a new ...

Stuck database
Two days ago my Meteobridge seemed to be stuck for the second time. He can be still reached by the network, but it's leaving a message that there is a problem with the database. All files are still uploaded in a normal way and in the "Live data" screen it is showed that all processen are done with ...

Re: How to optimize receiving data
Again a little step further. I found out that the console is also retransmitting the wind data, so that's nice! :D
I also found out that the TH from the stable is missing, distance too big propably. So I now changed the settings in:
TH Station stable, on console in office room (set as ISS on ...

Re: How to optimize receiving data
On the Station tab> RF Module>RF Sens. have you set this to "via console"? And what dB value is set?
I forgot to set RF Sens to "via console"! dB value is set to -80 dB now. The reception is good now, beyond expectation! See picture below (with console on a different floor at 10 m distance ...

Re: How to optimize receiving data
The Retransmit drop down option wording is a little vague as if you were to select ID 1,2 or 5 in the above example you would get a message saying "Can not Retransmit to Station x" and in the above example x would be either 1,2 or 5.
The Retransmit drop down box should be read as Retransmitting ...

Re: How to optimize receiving data
I have retransmitted my console (#6) and my Envoy (#7). Both are placed directly next to the MB as seen by the signal values. Although both signals are good (100% reception) still the received frequency is very unstable as you can see in the image below. Frequency of reception varies by less than 1 ...

Re: How to optimize receiving data
Wim and Mattk both thanks for your input, it's highly appreciated.
I am confused also, only JeroenZwart can make sure by installing WeatherLink and then using the envoy as a repeater and check what the MB-Pro receives.
Tomorrow I will try to use the Envoy as a repeater and see what happens then ...

Re: How to optimize receiving data
Thanks again, Wim, for your quick response.
Only ONE ID can be retransmitted, as far as i know and read in the manuals
But that the normal ISS has temp/hum/rain/wind/uv and solar on 1 ID (often ID-1). The envoy/console uses the first free ID to retransmit the ISS-connected devices.
Yes, but ...

Re: How to optimize receiving data
Thanks Wim,
But that's a little disappointing! :( If only the ISS RF reception (without UV and solar) will be retransmitted, meaning that I can't use winddirection and speed (other station), UV, solar, ground temperature, and one other TH-station. Only ISS TH, precipitation and one other TH will be ...

Re: How to optimize receiving data
Hello Mattk,
Thank you very much for your response. This sounds hopefully! I do receive now Davis stations by RF direct (internal meteostick), but only for distances less than 30 m. If I understand you rightly, is it possible to receive the signal via the Envoy? That would be grate, because the ...

Re: How to optimize receiving data
Hello,
I have bought a MB Pro, but it won't receive the signals of my Davis stations. Maybe because the distance between the MB and the stations is too big (appr. 100 m)? So I connected my Envoy (I used before in combination with a PC) directly to the MB. The original Envoy and datalogger with ...
