Re: Data Import function for MB PRO and NANO SD

FWIW, my issue was my data from my lacrosse station was dumb and had a running total over multiple days/weeks/months. So I had to fix that with excel.

Not sure about this issue. It’s been a while since I looked...

Re: Data Import function for MB PRO and NANO SD

Hi there! Great to hear! So yes, I believe I posted about that a while back. I had to make all my rain numbers be a running total for rain in a given day (I think)? https://forum.meteohub.de/viewtopic.php?f=61&t=13303&start=75#p28016 That only addresses my previous station which was really dumb and ...

Re: Data Import function for MB PRO and NANO SD

Definitely check the "Buffer" state under System in the web interface. I'm guessing it's filling up and dying.

You might pause any service uploads until it's done.

What does the log say once it hangs (or before)?

Re: Data Import function for MB PRO and NANO SD Problems

NANO SD: I have tried to import files in WSWIN format. This works only in about 60% of the imports. The effect is that the import of one month works for about 25 days of data (15min resolution). The MeteoBridge database has been correctly updated till this day of the month. This has nothing todo wi...

Re: Random Station Disconnect (Nano SD)

's okay.

Long and short of it, stop using Weathercat, or just accept that the Nano will restart it's logging process when wireless goes down and Weathercat loses connectivity to the Nano?

Re: Random Station Disconnect (Nano SD)

Not understanding. Weathercat worked before the initial slave implementation.(that is, it still works now, but it also worked before the slave implementation). Anyway, so the issue is that Wifi going down is breaking weathercat talking to the Nano, and that's stalling out the data polling, so the Na...

Re: Random Station Disconnect (Nano SD)

I’m running WeatherCat on my Mac. At this point, mainly for the iOS app. I’m confused by the answer though. Are you saying that weathercat is controlling when the Nano queries the console when the Nano is in slave mode, and then when I restart WiFi, weathercat loses connection to the nano (expected)...

Re: Random Station Disconnect (Nano SD)

So this just occurred this morning. I did reboot my router at this time. So maybe meteobridge losing network connectivity (wifi stayed up) is somehow freaking it out in other ways? I didn't do anything to fix it, it resolved itself. It's just odd that losing network would cause it to lose connectivi...

Re: Random Station Disconnect (Nano SD)

Network... what?

The nano says it disconnected from the Envoy (seemingly). I did adjust my network a bit before the time it happened, which would have caused a wireless outage, but I'd never seen that before. =/

Re: Random Station Disconnect (Nano SD)

Soft reboot of Nano SD fixed it. So I wouldn't think it's the envoy or the VSS. Seems more like the Nano just dropped the connection for some reason.

Is there anything I can look at if it happens again to help figure out WHY?

Random Station Disconnect (Nano SD)

Just had my Nano SD, which is in an Envoy, report "Station Disconnect 0 (Vantage)". Never had this happen before. Thankfully Weathercat told me about it (saying station data hadn't changed in 12 minutes). Any idea why this would have happened? Anything I should investigate? I lost it, but I think I ...

Re: Template causes MB lockup on 3.9 & 4.0 - works fine on 3.8 **solved**

Been up and running consistently (no reboots on either end) for several days now. Haven't seen a single 50x error.

Thanks Boris for making this change! =)

Re: Template causes MB lockup on 3.9 & 4.0 - works fine on 3.8

@staze - Although I don't believe that the MeteoBridge is single-threaded, 33 requests each taking 8+ seconds eventually has multiple requests being handled simultaneously, and apparently a large percentage of those have to go through the CGI Template responder. At some point something has to give....

Re: Template causes MB lockup on 3.9 & 4.0 - works fine on 3.8

I wonder why we'd enter this state at all... why is MB suddenly unable to, seemingly reliably, respond to these requests after some number of hours...
