Not much luck so far- I am unable to connect to the NSLU2 over the satellite link, so I walked my brother through a local connection. He was able to copy the 3.1 and 3.3c .upd files to the transfer folder, but when he selected the 3.1 file and applied it the NSLU2 stayed on 2.7.
I was also unable ...

Re:CRON settings and operation?
Question: I am now running version 2.7 and have noticed that Meteohub is still connecting to my FTP server every one to two minutes even though the Cron settings are not requesting this. I realize that there have been many updates to the software since I last worked on it. What version would you ...

Re:Multiple temp/humidity sensors?
Thanks for the reply- I'll take a look at the options you suggest.
Some clarification: I set up a WMR200 in Vermont at my mother's house to monitor conditions up there via her satellite Internet link. I live in New Jersey, so I am looking at solutions for some interior temperature monitoring. I ...

Multiple temp/humidity sensors?
I would like to set up temperature monitoring in my home for various locations: crawl space, basement, attic, garage etc... I set up a WMR200 system with Meteohub and it has been happily working for a year or more now, so I know it will let me do the graphing and such that I need.

X-axis label spacing on a 320x240 graph?
I am trying to set up graphs to display on a Chumby (http://www.chumby.com/pages/learn_overview) which requires images sized at 320px x 240px; the software they run does not properly resize images down from larger originals. If I set it to 640x480 for example, the displayed image is doubled (two ...

Windspeed Avg display error?
I have a web page that displays various high/low/average values that gets updated routinely and is then pushed to an FTP server. Occasionally (but not consistently that I can see) the variable [hour1_wind0_speed_mph] fails to be given its value and instead shows up like this:

Re:Meteohub Update 2.3a
Hmmm- I guess I should have set up the SSH port through the NAT firewall before leaving the weather station location.
Thanks for the SSH instructions.

Re:Meteohub Update 2.3a
It seems odd that the only configuration item that appeared to have been lost when I used the web based upgrade option across an extremely slow satellite based Internet connection was the port number.
Would it be a good idea for me to re-apply the upgrade after downloading it to the NSLU2?
Can ...

WMR968 text display issue? ** solved **
I have set my WMR968 to display the predicted weather conditions using this variable (shown with the data from the \"all\" flag\")
actual_thb0_fc_text Mostly_clear_and_cooler.
It could just be my luck, but it appears to ALWAYS show this one text string, even when the weather graphic changes from ...

Re:Meteohub Update 2.3a
I forgot to mention that the version that I updated to that failed to maintain the proper IP port number is the one labeled \"Update V2.3a (with \"erase settings bug\" fixed)\" which presumably should have kept the port information.

Re:Meteohub Update 2.3a
I also ran into a problem when applying 2.3a using the web based upgrade from 2.3; once I applied the upgrade I could no longer access the unit through my firewall, but it was still uploading data properly to Weather Underground. Since I am 400 miles from the weather station I had to walk someone ...

CRON settings and operation?
I have noticed that the log shows a CRON job connecting to my server every five minutes, yet I did not think I had set anything to upload that often. The attached snapshot and summary below shows my configuration.
What would be causing the once per five minutes connection? I know it doesn't sound ...

Re:slow NSLU2 (132 BogoMIPS)
My unit just purchased last week from Ambient Weather (bundled with MeteoHub pre-installed) also shows \"Too low clock speed: 132 BogoMIPS\" when I upgraded to 2.2d.
Processor : XScale-IXP42x Family rev 1 (v5b)
BogoMIPS : 132.71

Re:FTP error?
After I renamed the templates the FTP uploads started working. I could see the connections to the FTP server every ten minutes (as scheduled) prior to that, but nothing had been uploading.
