Re: Gmail email sign in changes
Thanks again. Definitely no spaces in app password. Attached is exactly what I see.

Re: Gmail email sign in changes
Thanks for that. I've tried the exact equivalent. Response is
"Error: Failed to send email: msmtp: authentication failed (method PLAIN) msmtp: server message: 535-5.7.8 Username and Password not accepted."

Re: Gmail email sign in changes
I've tried for ages to configure Gmail settings, without success. Username and password not accepted. I'm using an app password, and have tried deleting that and creating another but still no success. I've been through all the authentication options. Port 587. smtp.gmail.com.

Meteobridge Pro with CumulusMX and WeatherLink Live. **solved**
CumulusMx on a PC connected to a WeatherLink IP logger via Meteobridge, where the PC is not running 24/7, can automatically obtain historical data from the logger when CumulusMX is restarted. However, CumulusMX cannot do the same if connected to WeatherLink Live without a Pro account at weatherlink ...

Day start for maximum wind speed
A couple of times recently I've noticed that wind speeds in the first hour of the day seem not to be taken into account in reporting the dmax. Local time here is currently UTC+1. Is it possibly the case that in recording dmax the new day is deemed to start at 00:00 UTC, rather than 00:00 local time ...

Weatherlink desktop software and Meteobridge
I've been using Weatherlink desktop software with my Davis Vantage Vue and Weatherlink IP logger for many years, and have just started using Meteobridge. Since connecting Meteobridge to the Vantage Vue via IP I've found difficulty with the connection between the desktop software and the IP logger ...

Re: Problem flashing TL-MR3020
I eventually succeeded by using tftpd64 and temporarily setting my desktop IP to 192.168.0.225, instead of using the Solarwinds TFTP server.

Problem flashing TL-MR3020
I have a new TL-MR3020 v3.20 and have been unable to flash the firmware for Meteobridge. I think I've followed all the instructions given correctly. I've set up the tftp server as specified, and loaded the correct file, renamed, into c:/TFTP-Root
