Day start for maximum wind speed

Post by rydercowan »

A couple of times recently I've noticed that wind speeds in the first hour of the day seem not to be taken into account in reporting the dmax. Local time here is currently UTC+1. Is it possibly the case that in recording dmax the new day is deemed to start at 00:00 UTC, rather than 00:00 local time? If so, would it not be more appropriate to use local time?

I am very sure that meteobridge's duration of a day is in sync the local timezone definitions.
Please remember to do a reboot after you have changed time zones.

BTW: Changing time zone settings does not change time stamps of previously logged data.
