What you quote above is exactly what i try first (see my 1st post) and exactly the parameters i use in my Thunderbird mailer ...
I try again , as usual , i get the message "Meteobridge settings successfully reloaded " when clicking "save"
but nothing new ...

and no message from meteobridge ( text in red color top of tab "service settings" )

=> when testing ftp , it is OK and i have this message in red color top of tab "service settings" :
"FTP test upload successfully done, file 'test-upload' stored on FTP server ...

- Authentication: none => does not work
- STP host: yec , a typo error , read : SMTP Host :)
- user & password are double checked and typed in the MB panel "services"
- port 465 as required by ISP

my origianl settings : To-Addr: Any valid email address / From Addr: A valid email address matching ...
