Meteobridge VM and Weatherlink IP. **solved**

Hello,

Installing the VM on Proxmox was no problem, as it was well documented. Many thanks for this.

Question: Why does Davis Vantage Pro2 no longer work via Weatherlink IP, or why can't I select it as a station?

Many thanks in advance for any feedback.

cu.

Re: E-Mail error **solved**

Thank you for your help. It is true that I used an ssh client to mount my external USB. Of course I will not do this again. Thanks again for your support and sorry for the late reply.

Re: Release 5.6 23.April

Problem solved. The backup must have filled up.
It would be nice if the USB support would work with MBPro2. Then I could swap out the backup files.

Release 5.6 23.April. **solved**

Hello and good morning.

I have had my MB2-Pro for 3 months. After installing the latest release, the system overview says that the memory is 100% occupied. How can this be?

Re: Database Backup Transfer via FTP

Yes, in general that would work. Downside would be that the FTP job will run long time and Meteobridge does serialize all events to keep system load, RAM footprint etc in close boundaries. That means when a large FTP upload job is triggered all other weather network services etc have to wait for ...

If there is a common need to backup to a connected USB stick, I can put this as an option on my PRO2 feature list.

As Meteobridge can handle multiple weather stations in parallel any USB port might come handy for additional USB connected stations.

Database Backup Transfer via FTP

Is it possible to send the database backup via FTP? And if so, how?

Thank you for feedback.

Re: Meteobridge PRO 2 + external USB

Too bad. Just plugged a brand new stick (intenso mini USB) into the front port and unfortunately it does not work. :(

What are the ports for then? A Meteostick is not needed.

I am now trying to transfer the gz files to a Fritz NAS as I prefer an automated process.

Re: Meteobridge PRO 2 + external USB

Thank you for your reply. :)

The link to the post was at least helpful. I used my iMac to format the stick with FAT32. Here, all partitions of the stick are completely deleted under MacOS. And here the Meteobridge seems to have a problem. I will get a new stick and then try it "virgin".
