My recent experience with auto reboot has been less positive
Since about v4.7o up to the latest my weekly auto reboots have been 100% UNsuccessful
BUT
Pressing reboot on the console - maintenance page has worked every time

Normal day to day operation is OK

Just a quick heads-up

There are 2 new (ish) updates on the WDL Website
The first - WDL6.07 works fine and does what it says on the tin
The second - WDL6.08 - looks as though changes to meteohub may be required
to use the new facilities - I've not tried it yet !!

Has anyone tried using a CF/SDHC adaptor in an Alix1d with Meteohub

I have several SLC SD cards from other projects
and also SLC SD cards are less expensive than the equivalent CF card

The adaptor is £10-£12 UK and the SD card fits inside the adaptor, so fitting should be no problem

Not sure if this helps but with a callsign it works

ID Callsign (Uppercase)
Server euro.aprs2.net:14580#validation code (5 digits)

This rotates your output around all the Tier2 Servers in Europe so if one goes down nothing is lost

Not sure how it works without a valid amateur radio callsign ...

Further to my recent post regarding SeaLevel / Altitude Pressure reporting in APRS / CWOP
I have done some more research and have found

It's a "Can of Worms" with people taking sides

APRS does not appear to mandate either setting
CWOP expects altitude pressure but a check of 40 CWOP ...

Baro Pressure reported to APRS now absolute not sea level

All other APRS stations reporting Sea Level Pressure

Absolute requires knowledge of WX Station altitude and a calculation to make valid ...

It does work as specified

Any lack of elegance is in the way WDL handles the changeover

The default 120sec delay in camera refresh can make it appear not to work (it also resets if you refresh your browser)

Meteohub appears to be working correctly

The day/night camera switch works fine for me

BUT

In night mode the day camera is displayed first and only changes over when the cameras "refresh"

Did some searching on the WDL forum and it appears that is "How it Works"

Lowering the camera refresh rate in WDL makes it less noticeable

A file(usually called wxnow.txt) placed in the 'public area' of meteohub would be ideal for me

I do not run ui-view 24/7 so this method should not create any error messages when ui-view is not running
