if I was able to answer this question, then we will not be here to talk about that
the RPI is a RPI3 with a Sandisk SDSDQED-064G-XI.
the configuration is a stock one, I means I've changed absolutely nothing from the SSH console. (I've just used the date command 3 weeks ago like sprante did )

Re: wrong system time after reboot
tried a new reboot, and same behavior
Summary:
the RPI download the image in the cloud
start with a date of today 15:55 (date of the previous working start)
the DB is erased again (corrupted, wrong record)
after 5 minutes exactly, Meteobridge setup the time correctly

Re: wrong system time after reboot
after having waited 5 minutes, the date is finally set to the correct one (it was not happening with the previous release some weeks ago...)
looks like something has been added in the code as a patch to mask the main issue with the clock during the network bootup.

Re: wrong system time after reboot
Just made a reboot test after some hour and the prb is still here...
impossible to have a working reboot
the RPI is on Internet behind a setup box.
looks like the issue is with something in the image which is downloaded.
I see the download, then the RPI reboot, and lost

Re: wrong system time after reboot
The firewall is just allowing a SNAT from IN to OUT same as the iptables is doing on the setup box.

Re: wrong system time after reboot
Hi again,
I've moved the RPI to a DMZ in prevision to give remote access to support and it's looks like it's working much better now
here is my setup (Internet)<=>Setup BOX doing SNAT<=>FW doing SNAT<=> RPI
I've moved the RPI like below

Re: Meteobridge lost connection **solved**
well, it's not an hijack, I'm suffering something very similar
My RPI is able to boot only 1 time over 10 with meteobridge
When I look on the RPI screen, I see a normal boot process with openwrt
when I look the webpage, I see the RPI to download the binary on the cloud.
then we have a reboot ...

Re: network configuration changed without asking anything
I've found me meteobridge/RPI with a DHCP IP @, also the license was asking a human action to accept the condition
Each time the local IP changes Meteobridge asks again for approving the license terms. The change of the IP is seen by Meteobridge as an indicator, that the user might have ...

Re: network configuration changed without asking anything
Static IP is not the best way to go - DHCP with having your router to pin the IP is always better - but in certain situations (when your router is struggling with DNS services and you need to insert another DNS manually) static IP setting is justified and NOT providing any problems.
Looking at ...

Re: network configuration changed without asking anything
For the community
I've spent 6h today to reverse engineering this gaz factory
If you have an RPI with this "software", don't try the static IP, it's just not work
with DHCP, it will work much better...
Still have the clock issue which will destroy your DB weather record... the solution would be ...

Re: network configuration changed without asking anything
2 more things:
my setting was to stick on the current release. looks like something on the meteobridge's cloud decided to override those setting and changed my network setting from static IP to DHCP IP
I can't believe it...
also, I've now only 1 successful reboot over 20 try....
It's a pity

network configuration changed without asking anything
My Meteobridge was set with a static IP
I've found me meteobridge/RPI with a DHCP IP @, also the license was asking a human action to accept the condition
I've accept the condition and got an error message
After a reboot and a while, it finished to work, nut still DHCP
Guys, what's happen with ...
