Re:NLSU2 wireless
Or choose any of the other Meteohub supported hardware platforms that does have wireless support natively. They're better for other reasons as well.

Re:Meteohub dyndns through a router
Thanks for the responses. I'm leaning toward the Apple product in part because it's a dual-band device capable of providing guest Internet access. Several others can do that as well.
I'm not put off the the interface, I've used it on an Apple Time Capsule and a few Airport Express modules. A more ...

Re:Meteohub dyndns through a router
There should be only one instance of DynDNS-configuration and it is always preferred to have it in the router/firewall connected to the WAN.
Since I try to follow the above advice myself I haven't tried it, but it's probably okay having the Meteohub do the DynDNS-stuff instead. Especially since it ...

Search the documentation for 192.168.1.77, it's assigned by default.

Re:Melting snow following day - how to correct?
You're creating a lot of trouble for yourself if you try to correct those small errors (if it is an error, since that was what really happened). How would you go about to correct things if it rains the day after a snowfall? How would you tell it apart?
My advice would be to accept this small ...

... if you are using the standard port 80 I advise you to use another port because port 80 is normal a webserver port and all the search engines on the Web are continue scanning port 80 of IP addresses. Use port 88 or so in the network setup of Meteohub. Search engines aren't a threat but if you ...

Re:Network timeout
Pretty much ALL linksys routers do local loopback as a default setting. Okay, I didn't know that. Maybe I've been so focused on that it wouldn't work that I didn't even try it?
Local loopback is the old Linksys terminology which I think they have re-named to something like NAT redirection ...

Re:Network timeout
How interesting. I had no idea of the potential of loop back and so no idea that I wasn't testing for internet access of the router and hub. I'm sorry if I'm confusing you here but I think it will be even more complicated for you to understand if you make incorrect assumptions.

Re:Network timeout
The reason you can't properly access your meteohub from the internet while your computer is on your LAN is that most routers will loop back the packets ... In my experience most home routers won't do that but normally it doesn't work as a test anyway since dropping such traffic (with the same ...
