[solved] All graphs starting at recomputation time
Since some weeks all of my graphs start at the time of recomputation (eg http://wetter.shinewelt.de/meteograph.cgi?graph=in-out-tag) . I suppose that there might be several illegal records in the raw-data files, as there additionally are several segfaults of wmr928eval when recomputing the data ...

Re: Optional ability to log weather data to separate USB sti
Easy going:
1) Insert USB - Stick
2) check the disk-name ( tail -f /var/log/messages ), in most cases it will be /dev/sda
3) remove the FAT32 Partition (fdisk /dev/sda ( in case the stick is sda, otherwise you have to change the parameter, or data will be lost! -> delete partition (d), create ...

Re: Optional ability to log weather data to separate USB sti
Very interesting idea. I think that this won't be a big problem, because you can automount the usb-stick to /data. I just ordered a XPorter XT and give this a try with my Alix3d3. When everything works well, I'll post my results here.

Alix3d3 - defective CF Card?
This morning my weather recording stopped without a reason, so did the ntp. dmesg reports quite a lot errors like these ones:
EXT3-fs error (device hda3): ext3_free_blocks: Freeing blocks not in datazone - block = 741947705, count = 1
]EXT3-fs error (device hda3): ext3_free_blocks: Freeing blocks ...

Re: Add support for APC UPS (apcupsd)
The apt-get way to install this software doesn't work. Debian etch is still the Debian version Meteohub is based on.
The Meteohub maintainer is NOT flexible enough to upgrade Meteohub from Etch to Lenny (Debian oldstable) or Squeeze (Debian Stable).
What's the matter? Just update your /etc/apt ...

Re: Simple outdoor temperature transmitter
A 1-wire probe is appropriate and quite cheap (30 euros). But it's only supported via plugins and you hav to know how to handle the linux meteohub is based on.

Did you try to start the Datenerfassungsprozess on the Wartung-Tab? Any hints in the logfile?

Re: Debian Lenny: any news?
1-wire users cannot install 1-wire on meteohub because Debian Etch is outdated and the repositories are not available anymore.
When do you think Debian Lenny is available for X86 systems?

Re: Update 4.7f
Hi there,
updated from 4.7e to 4.7f yesterday - the Application works flawless. I noticed that the id_rsa, id_rsa.pub and known_hosts were replaced - so my SSH tunnel didn't get up. Will every update replace the files in /root/.ssh or was this just a one time change?
Thanks
Danny

Re: Upload to Twitter?
So, I need as well alter my script with your changes.
But my script isn't working properly:
meteohub:~# echo $last24h_th0_tempmax_c
14.9
meteohub:~# echo $actual_th0_temp_c
5.5
meteohub:~# if ( expr $last24h_th0_tempmax_c \< $actual_th0_temp_c); then echo $last24h_th0_tempmax_c ist kleiner ...

BTW:
Your barotrend is wrong, because meteohubs barotrend variables have a bug, and do not reflect reasonable pressure changes.
That´s why meteohub shows for baro trend most of the time: steady
