Is there any way, short of a reboot, to force my metohub (sheevaplug) to refresh its DHCP-assigned gateway address.
I've changed routers and the new router has a different LAN address - albeit within the same subnet.
I can still reach the GUI and SSH, at the previously assigned addresses, but ...

Re: No data recorded via USB RFXCOM
Ta.
I don't recall receiving any s/w when I got the receiver, but that was over 4 years ago so I could be mistaken.
I'm in discussions with RFXCOM about testing on a PC.

No data recorded via USB RFXCOM
With meteohub 4.9y on Sheevaplug, after months of trouble free operation, I am suddenly receiving no data via my USB RFXCOM receiver.
The metohub log files report:
logger (26.12.2014 07:51:33): station 0 (RFXCOM), can't open device /dev/ttyUSB0: No such file or directory
Does this suggest a ...

Restore from backups
Meteohub running on Sheeva, SD card appears corrupt.
Given that I have a fresh SD card, and copious backups, what is the recommended sequence of actions to re-build my system?
The userguide is quite clear on creating the backups, but less so on using them for disaster recovery.
Thoughts?

Re: Errors backing up with rsync
Thanks Ysbrand,
That seems to work, and it's certainly cleaner than hacking the meteohub folders.
Andrew.

Errors backing up with rsync
When setting up an rsync backup for my meteohub, the following error was reported:
rsync: opendir "/lost+found" (in data) failed: Permission denied (13)
I was using the rsync syntax from the user manual:
$ rsync -uav rsync://root@192.168.0.71/data mymeteohubdata
On SSH'ing onto the meteohub ...

Problems Restoring from Backups
My SD card (Sheeva) died as a consequence of a power outage (failed to boot).
I got a replacement card, loaded a fresh image (4.9 Build 929), transferred my licence, reconfigured all my sensors and everything appeared to be fine. New data being collected, graphs drawn and uploaded, etc.
But... Now ...
