New update causes my weather station to stop sending updates

I have noticed a pecular behavior.

Every now and then my Meteohub (x86 on eBox 3300) stops sending updates to the services that I have configured.

Each time this happens I have noticed that it is right after an updae is released for Meteohub.

If I apply the update then all is fine until the next update is released. As soon as Meteohub realizes there is a new update my Meteohub again stops updating the weather services I publish to.

I would love to stop this behavior or somehow set it to automatically update.

updates do initiate a recomputation. until this has finished not all data is avail for weather networks.

There has to be more to it than that.
I am also unable to login to the Meteohub server when I hit its web interface and it is in this condition.

If I power cycle the Meteohub server then I can login to the webinterface and everything is fine again, and recomputation happens.
In fact, that is the only way to get my Meteohub server functioning after this happens - I have to power cycle it.

I cannot image that this recomputation trigger might take multiple days as it normally takes about 20 minutes.

I rebuilt my server last week thinking the problem was my flash drive and it still happens (it just happened with the latest 'o' release). It was offline and I was unable to login until I power cycled the eBox.

may be the reboot command does stall your system.
does it reboot, when you press reboot on "maintenance" page?

Rebooting using the reboot button on the management page does work.

However, whenever a new update is released I am unable to login to my system and communication with my weather networks also stops.

There appears to be network activity as the NIC blinks as if it is attempting to do something on the wire, however the system is not accessible until I power cycle it.

Are there any logs that might indicate what is happening?
