iconnect meteohub stick update

Post by admin »

I just replaced the meteohub stick image (v4.8f) by a version that is smaller for faster download and adapts data partition automatically to usb stick size during install procedure. This comes handy, as many of the 4GB USB sticks and SD cards do have slight differences in size and this also enables you to start with a 8GB stick from the beginning on.

Changing storage media later on will most propably result into a system ID change, which meams that you will have to transfer the activation code by the corresponding online tool. so please keep a copy of activation code and system ID, both is needed in case of doing a transfer in the future.

Do you have any suggestions for 8GB USB sticks that have the required SLC?

you might try this one...

Or take an Integral Endurance 8GB SLC SD card and use one of the tested SD card readers.

After extracting the image mhiconnect-stick-v4.8f I get an image size of 216.120 kBytes. Is that correct? If so, could you please update the IConnect Setup page, because there is still stated that the image size would be around 4 GB.
