more than 100 graph definitions

Post by Hathor27 »

Hi Boris,

these days I got the message
Es können nur bis zu 100 Grafikdefinitionen verwaltet werden.
What is the reasen to limit the amount of graph definitions to 100? Would it be possible to enlarge this? Or is there a better way to pre-define more graphs
Best Regards

That is a lot of graphs. I could see that many might put a huge computation load on the old NSLU2 meteohubs.

I think a graph definition doesn´t create any load at all.
The graph definition only resides as file at the file system, but as long as it is not called it is not creating additional load on the server.

So, the only reason might be saving storage, despite the graph definition files are very small anyway.

BTW: I also have more than 100 - and it´s working - so you can simply ignore the error message.

I'm thinking as you do - it still works. But wouldn't it be nice to have NOT this error message above? It would be more faithful...
...therefor as a wish at this place
