ln: error while loading shared libraries: unexpected PLT rel

The web interface states that the ssh server is down, not internet access and that the ssh server is not running.

I learned that ln is not working when I noticed that sshd.pid is not symlinking to dropbear.pid

When I run the ln -s command I get this error: ln: error while loading shared libraries: unexpected PLT reloc type 0x00

This is true when I run ln.coreutils

Is there a library missing or in the wrong location?
