First "Best wishes for this new year to everybody".
Meteohub reports:
actual_rain0_total_mm 10.2 = exactly the total rainfall this year (1 and 1/2 days)
Yesterday at 23.59
day1_rain0_total_mm 3.00 (never a figure after the decimal point)
Now :
day1_rain0_total_mm 7.00
When you add those two figures it is more or less equal to the total rainfall this year of 10.2 mm
But: Meteohub reports:
month1_rain0_total_mm 9.20
year1_rain0_total_mm 3.80
I can't find a set of measurements to put on my website so that visitors don't joke about it.
Now it looks like the attached picture from my website http://www.weerstation-wilsele.be

Same for me (and for Emjaynet in the '2 days' thread, I see). On the front page, my ajaxdashboard has:
This Month: 6.90 mm
Season Total: 6.00 mm
and the figures are repeated in the Trends page. This seems to be because Season on the main page and Year on the trends page both use 'year1_rain0_total_mm', which is lagging behind the up to date month figure in 'month1_rain0_total_mm'.
Using 4.8i on an iconnect.

Re: day1 month1 year1_rain0_total_mm do not add up
i got an answer in dutch so here a short translation:
The sensor values are calculated with a different interval. Not all at the same moment. Some frequent, some only once a day.
day1 calculated every 5 minutes
month1 calculated 4 times a day
year1 once a day
This site has a table with more info:

Yep, good detective work!
I guess you only really notice in in the first few days of Jan as rain for day can be larger than rain for year.

Re: day1 month1 year1_rain0_total_mm do not add up
You will notice the difference all month during January i think because month can ge greater than year as it rains on a day.
Therefore i switched to
actual_rain0_total_mm
which contains the correct rainfall for this year.
