export file formats?

Post by vorkus »

I'm having no luck at all with the export file formats from MeteoHub. I've tried WD and WSWIN formats but can't get either to import into Weather Display. I've also tried the WSWIN format into pc-wetterstation. No luck there either.

WSWIN into Weather Display has bad dew point and barometer values. The WD format I ran through the converter in Weather Display and it makes a complete mess of it. Looking at the original file I can see something is wrong with the format.

I tried the WSWIN format into pc-wetterstation and get a date format error. It needs mm/dd/yyyy and the file is in dd.mm.yyyy.

Please help. I've purchased a very expensive brick if I can't get the data out of this thing.

hi, preferred way to do a coupling with wswin is the \"Dateiüberwachung\" mode, that imports data automatically while checking the Meteohub wswin file from time to time. Data may be at wswin a couple of minutes late, but they are correctly timestamped.

When working with english language, you need the newest WSWIN version. Werner has patched the importer of wswin to always accept a dotted representation of date.

Coupling with wd should best be done with the http-data logger functions of meteohub. You might have a look at this thread in the WD forum:

I hope this helps.

Yes. Thank you. I was using the demo version which is not the current version. I went again and bought the software based on your reply. I was able to import the data just fine. Thanks again.
