I was wondering about the memory capacity. Does anyone know what happens when you fill the card? Does the software start deleting the oldest files or do you need to do that manually?
Second question. I noticed the instructions specify either 2GB or 4GB. Why the distinction? Will the 2GB version not support a larger card? Furthermore can you move to a 8GB or 16GB card if desired?

The reason for having distinct images for the \"GB and 4GB usb sticks is that the images contain a binary snapshot of the 3 partitions that make up a meteohub system on the stick.
So you need a stick that fits the image you have. You can bring a 2GB in´mage onto a 4GB stick, but that would be wasting space.
copying the impage on a larger stick an then resizing the data partition might work. You can do that from any linux system where you mount the stick. Just change size of partition 3 to max, and make a resize2fs on it. voila...
At the moment this cannot be done from Meteohub itself as the platform is missing the necessary ext3 tools. They might be installable via \"ipkg install\", but I have not checked myself.
All this needs some severe linux understanding and you are going to loose your data at all, when you don't know exactly what you are doing. so be warned ;-)
The \"clone\" option on the maintenance page might be the easiest and preferred way to transport meteohub to a larger stick. When setting up partition 3 on the new stick the clone function takes all available space for this.

So can I use 'clone' to move to a 8GB stick, for example? I assume it is NOT a one way operation. If I try it to see if it works, but then not switch to it. The original stick isn't moved, its copied, correct?

I use an 8GB stick (it was what I had sitting around), but only 4GB of it is accessible. I just found a cheap 4GB stick and will be downgrading.
