Storage data file at 85%

Post by cbhiii »

Hello,

It's been awhile since I've been here. After updating my software to the latest version and waiting for it to recompile (16 hrs), I noticed that I'm at 85% of space used in that file.
  • Data: 2346MB of 2756MB used (85%)
My questions are:
  • How can I increase this data space while saving the old data?
What happens when the file reaches 100%?

you can shut down the system, do a low level copy (dd or similar) to a larger storage medium, start meteohub with that medium.
then you can do in place enlargement of data partition as described by a couple of users in this forum. search for "resize2fs".

Thanks for the reply. I'll look around and see what I can find on that procedure.
