Rain Sensor Calibration not applied to html output ** solve

Post by skyewright »

Version 2.4 (also applied to v2.3e).

First rain here for a while...

My rain gauge calibration factor is being applied just fine in the logging protocol (so WD is getting the correct, i.e. adjusted, values :) ), but it is not being applied to html or graph output. :(

N.B. The calibration factor I apply to pressure is fine both in the logging protocol and in html (and so far as I'm aware to graphs - but I can't check due to a recomputation).

Afterthought...

I wonder if it is just a computation thing, i.e. when adding new rain to the compressed data totals (which the logging protocol doesn't use)?

As the rain was overnight I didn't see it come in.

The obvious errors here are in the \"Today\", \"This Month\" and \"This Year\" totals, i.e. [day1_rain0_total_mm], [day1_rain0_total_mm], [month1_rain0_total_mm] and [year1_rain0_total_mm].

I'm sure these values were all sensible afterthe last recomputation with v2.3e late last month and before this rain.

Just a thought...

Solved - sort of...

It seems that somehow my calibration offsets and factors had become associated with different attributes of different sensors, e.g. an offset set intended for thb0 pressure had become associated with t7 temperature!

Adjusting the calibration settings on the Weather Station page, then saving and recomputing solved the problem.

Boris will take a look at the code when he's back off holiday to see if he can find a root cause.
