Dear All,
I am new to this at all and have got a new Davis 6162EU Vantage Pro II and a weatherBoxx Light.
I connect the Davis with the weatherBoxx Light with a Weatherlink Datalogger 6510 USB. I hope I have followed all first setup paper but still have got some problems to create some Graphs or WD / MW Live data. When I want to create a graph with WD Live I gte the error displayed "Error Loading Data, Check your clientraw data files in the location specified in the WDL configuration file and are not corrupted." To find the problem I check again all points and found this. The Meteohub log files show me this error
"error reading from wget process (status): --22:57:30-- http://logger.meteoplug.com/cgi-bin/lograw.pl# =# `-'#Resolving logger.meteoplug.com... failed: Connection timed out"
after rebooting the MeteHub the loffiles looks like:
logger (07.08.2012 23:10:46): data logger (version 4.9l, build 6691) started.
logger (07.08.2012 23:10:47): connect station 0 (Vantage via USB serial).
logger (07.08.2012 23:10:48): station 0 (Vantage), wakeup sent.
logger (07.08.2012 23:10:48): station 0 (Vantage), internal logger activated.
logger (07.08.2012 23:10:48): station 0 (Vantage), syncing.
logger (07.08.2012 23:10:58): station 0 (Vantage), gettime request sent.
logger (07.08.2012 23:10:58): station 0 (Vantage), time offset of Vantage: -40 minutes
logger (07.08.2012 23:10:58): station 0 (Vantage), eeprom request sent.
logger (07.08.2012 23:10:58): station 0 (Vantage), rain collector size 0.2 mm per tick.
logger (07.08.2012 23:10:58): station 0 (Vantage), transmitter 1 active as station type (#0) "ISS".
logger (07.08.2012 23:10:58): station 0 (Vantage), no reading of Vantage's internal logger as data gap is less than 10 minutes: 93 secs
logger (07.08.2012 23:11:08): error reading from wget process (status): --23:10:53-- http://logger.meteoplug.com/cgi-bin/lograw.pl# =# `-'#Resolving logger.meteoplug.com... failed: Connection timed out.
Can anybody give me some advise or help ?
Thanks very much
Tobias

Re: MeteoHub first Installation problem
Hi,
It looks like your meteohub box is not able to "translate" logger.meteoplug.com to an ip address.
This is normally caused by either:
- No internet connection from meteohub
- DNS server is not properly configured.
Have a look at the system info page, and check:
Gateway -> This is the address of your internet router
DNS -> This is the address of the DNS server, could be your internet router or the ip address given by your ISP
WAN IP -> This is the result of meteohub trying to determine your internet address, if there is no address you have an issue connecting from meteohub to the internet.

Hi Ysbrand
Thanks, I change the network configuration from DHCP to fix IP
DHCP
IP 192.168.1.40
Netmask 255.255.255.0
GW 192.168.1.1
DNS1 192.168.1.1

WAN IP: 87.102.188.58 (this was not in when I had got DHCP)
then I restart the MeteoHub, and check the Meteobub Log-file
logger (08.08.2012 20:01:58): data logger stopped.

The error from before is now away but I still can't create graphs. With WD Live I gte the error displayed "Error Loading Data, Check your clientraw data files in the location specified in the WDL configuration file and are not corrupted."
Any Idea ??

Re: MeteoHub first Installation problem
Hi.
I assume you are using the WDL installed on Meteohub?
Did you configure the WD Data export tab?

Re: MeteoHub first Installation problem
No I haven't configure
Now I set some sensores and set the tick for creating WD Data.
I will check tomorrow if I can create some graphs then.
Thanks
Tobias

Re: MeteoHub first Installation problem
Ok,
I've logged into your system (by request):
It turned out that WD-Live data was not configured for uploads.
-- Graph Uploads / Grafiken Hochladen
-- Select WD-Live from the drop downbox
-- Schedule "Every Minute"
-- Leave outputname as default "clientraw.txt"
-- Save / Speichern
Although it doesn't really make sense (at 1st sight) to configure uploads to a local system, this is what needs to be done in order to have Meteohub generate the clientraw file
