Meteohub does not recognize activation code

Hi,
I have a strange problem with my Meteohub
After updating the software to version 4.9q, Meteohub does not recognize the activation code
When I click "save", Meteohub does nothing and the system information says that it is in the Demo version
And now the problem persist even if I install again the older versions of the software

The software was preinstalled (version 4.7) in an Alix platform (Varia Store).

Any ideas on what's going on?

seems to be a bug only on certain installations as it was reported by other users as well
