As you know, there are many ways to find out IP Meteobridge does have in your LAN/WLAN:
press button and read the blinks (just works when Meteobridge has downloaded application stack from the Internet
insert USB stick and press button to get IP data written onto USB stick
use an IP scanner
have a look at your routers DHCP log
As this is all boring, a found an even more easy way, just browse this link: http://magicip.meteobridge.com
If you have a Meteobridge, give it a try you will be surprised
Anybody interested to know how that magic does work?
When I setup my meteobridge to work via wireless, I am unable to access the meteobride UI via the ip address reported in my router DHCP. If i plug in an ethernet cable i can then access the meteobridge at the same IP as reported for wifi. Is this normal?
As the wireless and cabled adapter di share the same MAC, most routers will give it the same IP.
That you cant reach the Meteobridge when in WLAN mode might have to do with wrong WLAN credentials.
Looking at your routers DHCP log might still show the old LAN connection.
