Has anyone created at iPhone/iPad template

Post by xtommo »

Hi
Im not much of a programmer but I was wondering if anyone has created a Meteobridge friendly iPhone/iPad web template?

I check my weather mostly from my phone so this would be very useful.

These are really two different devices, you mention.
An iPad even the mini one can process full blown websites without any problems.
Acces from your iPad for instance this Meteobrdige website: http://www.wiri.be/weather2/
Now if you acces the same site from your iPhone you should get a subset of the sites information because an iPhone screen is to small to see all that information.
So yes this is a template for normal sized laptop / iPad / Tablet screens and the same template also displays a subset of the information on a smartPhone be it iPhnoe or Android.

the saratoga template is nice but its a little too "busy for me"

when i was using weathercat software for the mac i was running the atkinsfamily template which was nice and simple and looked good on both the iPad and iPhone.

access this link from your ipad and then from your iphone and you'll see its pretty awesome

If you have singed up with wunderground.com you can use their app to see your pws data.

unfortunately the weather underground app doesnt show rainfall data, ie rain rate and rain totals.
in my opinion the WU app is not very well designed.

they are working on update PWS sites but im sure that is still a while away
