Version 1.7 -- supporting Acurite Internet-Bridge

Post by admin »

Version 1.7 does bring support for a new station:
  • supports Acurite Internet Bridge device on experimental level. Meteotridge needs to be in WLAN mode and must have "LAN Bridge" option enabled. Acurite Internet Bridge has to be directly connected to Meteobridge via Ethernet cable. This setup allows to use all features Acurite did put into Internet Bridge and to feed Meteobridge which gives even more options to make use of your weather data. Acurite 5in1 sensor and extra temperature sensors are supported.
  • resets Meteobridge back to "Factory Defaults" when pressing the reset button until LED blinks for 5th time. Meteobridge will reboot automatically.
Wiki http://www.meteobridge.com does reflect these changes additions. Please have a look there how to make use of the new options.

Picture below gives an impression how Acurite Internet-Bridge connects to Meteobridge (black cables are just power).
Sensors do report wireless to Acurite Internet-Bridge and Meteobridge connects that bunch wireless to the Internet
via your WiFi router. As a result these two just need power and can be placed anywhere...

In my case data of a 5in1 and two additional temp/hum sensors looks like...

Hi,

I am interested in Meteobridge as a way to improve my Acurite Aculink system. Good work!

I have a question -

If I use Meteobridge, will the Aculink data be passed to BOTH Meteobridge AND the Acu-link MYBACKYARDWEATHER at the same time?

Thanks,
