IP Address for AcuRite Bridge **solved**

Post by joe002 »

I’m using an AcuRite 5-in-1 and their Bridge with meteobridge.

I know the IP address for my meteobridge but I don’t know how to get the IP address for my AcuRite Bridge. The AcuRite Bridge has its own web page you can use to do things like turn the blinking light off.

I have one of those 5-1 units. And I have the Weatherstation display connected directly to the meteohub directly via the usb cable. I don't see the advantage of having the MH connected to the Acurite Bridge. Why not connect the station directly to the MH?

I have the newer Professional model - it doesn't have a display with a USB hub - is uses the Bridge.

AAahhhh.... Ok, makes sense...

In the SYSTEM tab, you wouldn't happen to see the IP under the NETWORK field?

Hope. I just see the IP Address of the meteobridge. I'm not sure if the AcuRite Bridge has its own IP address or it uses the same address as the meteobridge. If it uses the same address then I don't know how I can get to the AcuRite Bridge (without disconnecting things).

Your router should be able to tell you what IP it gave the aculink.
Or you can use an IP scanner.

Does the meteobridge and the AcuLink Bridge have different addresses? I gave my meteobridge a static address, so I know what it is, and before I used the meteobridge (directly connected the AcuLink Bridge) I could see its IP address from my router, but now I don't see the AcuLink Bridge, so I was wondering if somehow the meteobridge and AcuLink Bridge had the same address?

no. is the aculink updating data on the acurite site? If so it just needs you to
find out the IP by looking into the logs of your DHCP server (router).
Does Meteobridge report the weather data from the aculink?
