Wind direction graph

Post by nordstrandqueen »

Hi,

is it possible to change the wind directions on the y-axis of a graph?
(so it doesn't go from N to NNW, but maybe from E to ENE)

Where I live we mainly have wind from N to NW, so the graph often crosses the whole y-axis. That doesn't look good and makes it more difficult for people to understand it.

when you display wind directin as bullets/points it looks better.

and forum's search function does present a solution for your direction names issue:
viewtopic.php?f=8&t=8324&p=9444&hilit=w ... tion#p9444

Gibt es irgendwo eine Doku über alle möglichen Formattierungen?

Hi there,

I'm still searching for a soluting to change the y-axis for wind direction in line graphs.

All I've found so far is a topic with the same problem:
viewtopic.php?f=13&t=5833

I don't like the dots as they are hard to find inbetween the lines for wind and gust speed.
And in fact, that's a workaround and not a solution.

Is there no way to change to values on the y-axis so North is in the middle of the graph?
