Hi Folks!
I recently bought a Vantage Vue with WeatherLinkIP software/logger. I bought TL-MR3020 and flashed it with the latest Metobridge bin and everything installed correctly and (after a couple of false starts) I got it to recognize my router. Yay! Success!
Questions:
Can I connect my Vue directly to the Meteobridge (with Cat 5) or does it have to be connected to the router instead? I've tried both ways and it only seems to work connected to the router.
If it can be connected to the Meteobridge, how can I find the IP given to the Vue?
Lastly, is it possible to get a Linux shell on the Meteobridge?
Thanks so much!!!
Cindy

I would recommend to connect your IP data logger from Davis with your cabled network.
Your router should be able to give it a fixed IP, when you tell him the MAC of your IP logger.
You use this IP to address the IP logger from the Meteobridge.
You can login via SSH to the Meteobridge, but I would recommend not to do so,
as when you play around there, chances of filling up the flash storage and stalling
the unit are quite high. This is not a regular Linux PC it just has 4MB of flash
and just 32 MB of RAM, all that already filled up by the Meteobridge applications
to the limit.
