Rain Totals are way off

Post by melissaox »

I am noticing the Live Data in my MeteoBridge is far off on rain totals. This morning my AcuRite weather station is showing 0.74 in rainfall. We have had slow but steady rain for a few hours this morning. When I look at Wunderground and the Live Data It is reporting a total of 0.07 in. I thought I had checked in the past and the numbers were ok, but in the last month or so I have noticed a huge difference. Not sure why its doing this or what to do to fix it. Rainfall is a huge reason why we set it up for the farming in the area.

Hi, Melissa:
Can you check your WUG page to see whether you have any missing data from your 5in1 sensor?

Not during this rain event. I see data at each interval on WU. Its just the rainfall amounts are much less overall than what the weather station is reporting. We ended up with 0.79 on the weather station but only 0.1 showing on WU

Okay, do your temperature, humidity, wind data, etc. match between the display, My Backyard Weather and WUG? In other words, is it only the rain total that's wrong?
