my cat has bitten off the antenna of the meteostick ( 1 cm ). Now I had to protect the Stick with a plastic or paper tube 
I recieve the datas without any problem.

Good length is 8 cm. Any wire will do.

You have 3 options:
- soldner the missing wire length to the top of the remaining wire
- Open enclosure (snapped in only) and solder new antenna wire
- send stick to me (mit frankiertem Rückumschlag) and I replace wire
You can also let it as is, but rf reception will be weaker than before. At least this is what theory tells me.
